Description: TAYLOR SWIFT: Debut Album, self-titled Taylor Swift. After years of travelling long distances to Nashville on weekends, Taylor’s parents finally realized their high school daughter needed to be in Nashville, so they relocated when she was still in high school. Taylor’s story will be told over and over again. She was a high school freshman when she wrote or co-wrote EVERY single track on her debut album – the only country music female in history who wrote or co-wrote every song on a debut album that went PLATINUM (Certified by RIAA) as a debut album. The album was released in 2006 when my father, Ken Kittinger was 81 and still the active premier gold/platinum awards designer and maker on Music Row. With 75-million + albums sold worldwide and the artist boasting the most overall awards in history, Taylor has become a worldwide phenomenon in the same class as the Beatles and Elvis Presley. My father was initially quite involved with Big Machine Records, a start-up co-owned by Tim Mcgraw (The song name of Taylor’s first cut on this debut album), but as Taylor’s popularity skyrocketed, her persona became a “corporation,” and much of my father’s memorabilia of Taylor when she was singing in the Blue Bird Café on weekends was officially banned from public sale for reasons of “proprietary ownership of the name – Taylor Swift.” Nonetheless, he made this first album award for Big Machine Records and only a few were found in his estate when he passed at 91 and left over 5,000 items collected over his 50 year career on Music Row. At 77, a retired CNN anchor and NBC White House Reporter, I simply liquidate his vast estate housed in three storage units. This is a “music history treasure” and was initially made to be sent to DJ’s, radio stations and music VIP’s as a “thank you” for helping launch Taylor’s career. Professionally packaged. Beautiful 16 X 20 X 1 shadow box with light blue velvet backing and “3D” raised graphics for a unique presentation. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE FRAMED PROMO PHOTO FROM 2006 IS A REPRODUCTION FROM TAYLOR'S ORIGINAL AUTOGRAPHED COPY FROM MY FATHER'S WORKSHOP. Due to the few on-hand, no offers are available on this item. Sold at list price only. Feel free to Goo-ooogle my father for more info on his Music City career; Ken Kittinger Gold Records.
