Description: TETLEY'S ENGLISH ALE FOX HUNTER WITH BEER IN HAND Draft beer tap handle. Carlsberg-Tetley Brewing Ltd. West Yorkshire, England. Founded in 1822 by Joshua Tetley. Taken over by the Carlsberg group in 1997. The beer was originally brewed at Leed's Brewery which was closed and demolished in 2012. Now contract brewed. English Pale Ale. 3.6%ABV. Creamy texture with subtle fruity hop notes. Tap is listed as used. It remains in excellent condition but I noticed part of the brim of his hat is missing when you look closely and he has some cracks in the paint around his chest area as seen. The rest of the tap is very clean with no other issues. Fresh beer in his hand. Still displays quite well despite the imperfections. Joshua Tetley. Brewery owner and famed fox hunter. Getting a buzz on drinking one of his own beers before getting on his horse and heading out to kill. Cheers! Front side has a large panel for the label. Back has a smaller rectangle sticker on the bottom of his waist coat. I believe this to be from the 1990's or maybe a bit earlier. A fine specimen.
