THE BIG BANG THEORY RAJ KOOTHRAPPALI'S Star Trek Uniform with Communicator from season 6 episode 13 'THE BAKERSFIELD EXPERIENCE' worn by actor KUNAL NAYYAR This was worn when the gang goes to comic con to enter the costume contest but get stranded in the dessert.The top is ANOVOS Star Trek edition of this screen accurate TNG starfleet uniform. Originally these were sold by ANOVOS for $1,000 (google it for proof). The shirt is size men's small. Made of high quality wool and zip down back with snaps. It has a piece of velcro on the shirt to attatch the Comm badge which is included. The pants are from Kenneth Cole and hand altered by The BIg Bang Theory costume department. The black pants have velcro on the right hip side to attatch your phaser and has buttons on the inside of the pants waistline to button the Anovos top to the pants to keep the shirt from rising up. As a TNG fan everyone knows how often the crew would be pulling down their top that would rise up during filming so the buttons prevented this (see photots). The shirt and pants is labeled by production "KOOTH" to identify the costume as worn by Raj Koothrappali. The pants bottom hem is designed to match the TNG crew pants a perfect replica of the STAR TREK TNG show uniform. Pant size is in the photos but may have been altered to fit the actor. I cannot see any huge visible alterations to waist or hip size. Big Bang Theory went all out to make their TNG costumes as accurate as possible.The Communicator badge is attatched with velcro as was the original TNG badges. Communicator is made of some sort of resin. The paint is matt as they were on the TNG show. The specs of the Communicator is spot on with color, paint and size. See photos.This is a great addition to any BIG BANG THEORY fan collection or even a Star Trek fan.A great wearable costume. I have all 3 of the characters Star Trek costumes but Sheldon and Leonard are being kept in my private collection. Comes with a COA Certificate of Authenticity as PRODUCTION SCREEN USED. This is a show I worked on occassionally over the years and the costume department was known for making all things nerd as accurate as possible and we can see it here in this costume worn by Raj.
