Description: PRICE DROP!! Was 12k. Now only $6,666.66 -- the Devil made me do it!! Do you believe in magick? Behold "The Black Tongue of Night" A perfect gift for observers of dark rituals! When you celebrate Halloween every day, let "The Black Tongue of Night" enhance your doom-laden gloom world just by being itself. Slightly taller than the palm of one's hand, it's a hand-built ceramic by yours truly -- the real-life Monsieur MonDieu! Made of clay with shiny ebony glaze. Originally, the head of a so-called "magic wand." The serpentine wand fell away decades ago, leaving this crudely triangular point. Heavily fissured, like a tongue, on top, with a celadon overlay, that looks more blue than green in places, usurping the black glaze. Glossy noir on bottom; however, the flipside will take on/reflect colors of whatever objects you place it near. A one-of-a-kind masterpiece sculpted in Athens, Georgia in the dark, bleak, REM-filled spring of 1990. Weighs about 5 pounds, yet has formidable presence. NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS. Who needs NFTs when you can have REAL art, serious art, macabre art… like the Black Tongue of Night?? Think… sculpture, Finster, noir, avantgarde, celadon, Outsider Art, gothic, goth, Folk art, ceramics, Halloween season, trick-or-treat, haunted house, darkness, witches, warlocks, demons, goblins, seances, spell-casters, spirit world, carved pumpkins, jack o' lanterns, necromancers! Perfect holiday gift for Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, Narnia Christmas, and (of course!) My bloody Valentine's Day! Free local pick-up in Portland, OR during daylight hours only in a public place. Never previously owned by anyone other than its maker. You could be the first collector.
