These antique hardcovers are in good condition; the bindings are tight and there is sunning/fading to the spines, as may be seen in the photos! Inside, both volumes have the name of a previous owner written on the end paper along with the date of December 4, 1928. Interestingly, the only writing in the books occurs in the Introduction of volume 1 - a previous owner neatly wrote some notes in the margins in pencil. I included a photo of the most egregious page, in my opinion. The markings could easily be erased, but I leave that decision to the new owner! Each book measures 9.75" x 7"! Please see photos!
