Description: Three Framed Hand-colored Bird Prints by Edouard Travies. Each marked Fournier (engraver) at lower right of the image. Framed size is approx. 8" x 8.75". Subjects: (1) LE PITPIT BLEU, (2) LA ROUSSEROLLE, (3) LE SENEGALI & LE BENGALI. Production time frame circa 1840-1860. Condition: good. Frames are sound. Mattes appear toned from sun exposure (but the matte color appears to have been tan to begin with, so hard to judge), and prints themselves show some foxing around the periphery, with two or three tiny age spots. The paper on the back is sound in two cases, while the third shows some tears and tape repairs. See photos.
