Description: This is a 1960 Tilley R55 radiant heater. It runs on kerosene. I believe the date stamp on the bottom shows 560A for May 1960. The fount has some missing paint spots, the Reflector has some minor dings near the top. The previous owner replaced the plastic knob that you use to turn the heater in, with a metal knob that is welded on and much easier to turn. It comes with the alcohol preheated that you squeeze to attach, and a clip-on base plate. See pics. I have cleaned the dust and debri off of it. I serviced and lubricated the pump. The inside of the tank was clean. I pumped it up to pressurize the tank. I used the preheat wick with alcohol in it to preheat the generator. I then lit it up and ran it for over an hour. It lights easily and runs great! It puts out lots of heat and looks great running. This is not a pristine heater, but it works great and looks pretty nice. I will purge all the fuel and pack it carefully, so it can be shipped most anywhere. I will partially disassemble to ship ir.
