Used correctly and together with your Tormek tool sharpener, there is no alternative method that can give you faster or sharper results. The jig can be set for various lengths of the side bevel. Create your own profile "recipe" or choose one of the recommended ones from the profile selection chart in the instructions. You can also sharpen your turning cutters with SVD-186 R.
