This eco-type tends to grow faster than regular T. fortunei, but has large 360 degree fans and a much thinner but taller trunk with a noticeable silver green color. It is the fastest palm we grow and has grown quickly and healthy in our cold high desert climate in Oregon! It is hardy to at least USDA zone 6b, and parent trees have seen temperatures below -0F. These particular trees were grown on our personal property in Oregon which is listed as a zone 6b, so they should hold good cold hardiness.
