TRICKERION: Legends of Illusions COLLECTOR’S EDITION Board Game, Kickstarter

Description: Up for purchase is the Collector’s Box of Trickerion: Legends of Illusion from the 2018 Kickstarter campaign. More specifically, my copy is made up of the retail released base game from 2015, the Dahlgaard’s Gifts expansion from 2015, and the Collector’s Upgrade pack, Dahlgaard’s Academy expansion, and the Big Box solution from the 2018 Kickstarter. The base game has been played once or twice, but the components remain in excellent condition. None of the expansion components have been used, but they were all punched and sorted to consolidate the original boxes into the big box. I went through all of the components to verify completeness and I believe that everything is here. Since I have the original base game and the later upgrade pack, it was a bit confusing accounting for everything as there are several rulebooks. I found a few things worth noting and they are as follows: 1.) I have two packs of the metal coins add-on. The rulebook recommends one set for the base game and two sets when using the Dahlgaard’s Academy Expansion. The coin sets should have 32 coins each, but one of my sets only has 31 coins. These serve as a cosmetic upgrade as I have the original cardboard coins as well. So the missing coin shouldn’t impede play. (Photo #14) 2.) The Dahlgaard’s Academy rulebook mentions that an “Academy Special Assignment” sticker for the main playing board should be included. This sticker is only needed if using the original game board. The upgrade pack included a new game board and that assignment area is preprinted onto it, so there is no additional sticker included. (Photo #15) 3.) The Dawn of Technology expansion includes 12 Signature Trick cards. I have two copies of one of these trick cards (Raging Spirit). I believe it’s an unnecessary duplicate included by mistake, but I left it in there just in case I missed something. (Photo #16). ** Also worth noting, there are a few spots of wear on the box from age and storage. An example can be seen in photo #17. And please be aware that I have two Corgis that don’t believe in the concept of not shedding. The static from the plastic trays tend to be the perfect magnet for dog hair and unfortunately they always find their way into the game box.
