I suspect that the aforementioned school is the distinguished-looking building in the background and on the right showing a bell tower and a big clock. The postcard was postmarked in October of 1908 in Tulare, California, and sent to Topeka, Illinois in Mason County. After the years the postcard may show some typical wear.
