This was the First Day of Issue on the Revalued Liberty Envelope. It seems Cachet Craft was doing a two color cachet, and never applied the second color. The dealer who had the stack of these knew I was doing cachets and just gave them to me! I was doing the ODDITY Cachet at this time, so I tossed a bunch of these into my printing batch for the 1978 Liberty Coil Stamp. Then took some to STAMPHILEX in NYC for their Statue of Liberty show cancel.
