Description: Here are a pair of the type of stamps which were put out during elections to promote specific candidates or issues which you were supposed to stick on your letters and postcards to send around to people and get them to vote. These are from 1932 when Franklin D. Roosevelt first ran for president with John N. Garner and the U.S. economy was in the tank. The top one is 1 3/8 inch by 1 inch has a great election slogan on it, "Give America Back to the People!", and the bottom one, promoting the Repeal of Prohibition and putting people back to work is 1 7/8 inch by 15/16". They are in nice condition, so please look at our images to judge its condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase.
