Nice Original postcard for your collection!This ship was named NEBRASKA, 1900 - 1901; Then renamed PENNSYLVANIA 7 March, 1901; Launched 22 August, 1903: Commissioned 9 March, 1905, Renamed PITTSBURG from 1912 - 1931, so the Navy could build the NEW BATTLESHIP PENNSYLVANIA - BB-38, Started in 1912; The PITTSBURG was decommissioned 10 July, 1931, and sold for Scrap, 21 December, 1931. The scrap metal may have been shipped to JAPAN, as they were buying scarp metal, all doing the 1930's, preparing for an aggressive war against the USA & others!!!!!!!!!!All single postcards are shipped in a PVC, Acid Free, Clear, Poly, Soft Sleeve for their protection!!!
