On November 16, 2017, the battalion was awarded a combat banner. It became known that the battalion finally received the 503rd number. In October 2018, the battalion received its permanent location in Mariupol. The military unit will be located in the former building of boarding school No. 2. On June 3, 2022, the battalion was awarded the "For courage and bravery" medal.
