This UNIQUE poster was produced by Capitol Records in 1991 to promote the much anticipated release of GREAT WHITE’S 5th album on Capitol, “Hooked”.For a very short while these posters were “fly posted” on construction site walls and other public locations nationwide to promote the album’s release. The album artwork originally featured the girl “hooked” above the water as on THIS POSTER, but it was decided to censor the artwork on the LP release by showing the girl holding on to the hook in water up to her shoulders – a more acceptable look for the time period. Jack Russell, Mark Kendall, Audie Desbrow, Tony Montana and Michael Lardie were looking to follow up on the great success of their previous album release, “…Twice Shy”. The Los Angeles based Hard Rockers known for “Rock Me”, ”Save Your Love” and “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” served it up again with “Call It Rock N’ Roll”. Another amazing album!
