The GroTube is based on the "Flood and Drip" or "Ebb and Flow" method of hydroponics. You will need a pump, reservoir, 12 feet or so of 1" tubing to interconnect one GroTube to another and about 3 feet of 1/2" tubing to connect the pump to the system. See our other eBay listings for the three other models and complete systems. We are the manufacturer. Our proprietary drinking water quality PVC parts are injection molded in Cincinnati Ohio. We assemble our GroTubes in Chicago on drinking water quality 4" PVC pipe.We are the owners of two full US Utility Patents: U.S. Patent #8,065,833........... The ULTRAponics GroTube System was designed and invented to to fix all the inherent problems of all other hydroponic systems on the market. We designed the ULTRAponics GroTube to be modular, not get clogged, not over flow, not give off humidity indoors, not collect rainwater outdoors, easy to clean while growing and post-harvest, be sturdy and durable .................. and not use much, if any, growing medium (although, we prefer to use expanded backed clay or other pellets and coconut fiber) that is a real mess post-harvest and a landfill problem.Since the ULTRAponics GroTube is 44" long and modular, we can create a system as large or as small as you need with Plant Site spacings for small plants like strawberries, lettuce, spinach, etc. (Six Plant Sites) to large bushy plants such as tomatoes, etc (Three Plant Site).
