Description: Build your own mono stringer or floating staircase with our bolt on floating stair riser brackets. Our brackets are CNC cut from only high quality and strength 3/16" Thick USA made hot rolled P&O steel and CNC bent. Each step requires a left and a right bracket and that is how they are sold and priced. Sold as a pair 1 left and 1 right $79 per step. Note: We can custom design for every riser angle. Ask about our custom design service. Upon placing order please let us know what your main riser beam (stringer) angle is and we will match your new brackets to your setup for a better fit and look. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHIP YOUR ORDER UNTIL WE HAVE THIS INFORMATION. They also come bare steel and can be left that way to patina or they can be painted, texture coated or powder coated. We recommend using Lag Bolts to attach the bracket to the stringer as well as the tread to the bracket. When attaching the using lag bolts always pre-drill and use bees wax to lubricate the bolt prior to screwing them into the wood to keep from splintering. 5/8" or 3/4" can be used for the bracket to stringer and 3/8" or 7/16" can be used for the bracket to tread. The length of the bolt we vary depending on the width of the stringer beam and the thickness of the stair treads. (Example: for a 3" thick tread we would use a 2.5" long lag bolt. For a 4" wide stringer we would use a 2" long lag bolt for the left side and the right side.)
