Description: Never used, original folds, vintage circa 1950, Irish pure linen flat sheet. Rare heirloom quality. Exceptionally fine weave on a traditional loom that produced sheets the width of the loom. The sides of the sheets are not hemmed. Rare Selvege: A selvage or selvedge is self-finished edge of a piece of fabric which keeps it from unraveling and fraying. The term "self-finished" means that the edge does not require additional finishing work, such as a sewed hem to prevent fraying. The manufacture's label warrants the sheet for 165 washings or 6 years! Some very minor discoloration and spots from storage that will wash out.
