Description: This is a nice bronze 1 centavos from 1903, minted at the Philadelphia mint, for the Philippines. The Philippines was under United States Administration at this time. Obverse has the familiar man seated beside hammer and anvil, reverse has eagle with wings open above shield. Edge is smooth. This is the first year of issue and is a nice example of this coin.
