Description: for sale here is a really very good vintage hardy alnwick perfect trout fly fishing reel , large 3 + 7/8ths" size , RHW , ebonite handle , full straight unfiled brass ribbed brass foot , excellent smokey agate lineguide in hardy stamped nickel silver bezel , rim mounted tension , overall a very good example with only little wear as can be seen , its a very tight and tidy example , good strong check , tight handle , all original , and winds like an absolute dream , aside from a few little areas of paint wear its a really nice tight and tidy example ..a very nice little reel to use this one...all fully stripped , cleaned and serviced , tight and tidy and and ready to use..no damage etc..a nice little mechanically perfect example , .no damage or buckles etc... comes with a very rarely seen matching spare spool which comes in an excellent top quality solid built english leather zipper spool case , very good lot this one.. these spools are really hard to find..........please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week... please also view more excellent items on my other ebay account , ebay username is w666fly if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
