Description: This is a very rare vintage Timex Boy Scouts of America wristwatch from 1959 that has been freshly serviced. The watch has a silver-tone case with a compression style case back and a 35mm case size. It features a new, two-piece brown genuine leather strap with a buckle closure and a white dial with a 12-hour markings. The watch is powered by a mechanical (manual) M22 movement with a lever escapement and is covered by an acrylic crystal. This watch is very rare in it's condition, and there's even less which have been serviced. This would be a great gift for a collector or a birth year watch, especially those looking for Boy Scouts of America pieces. Case, crown, and dial are as-is and show normal wear to keep the charm of a vintage watch. All of my Timex watches have been tested to run between -/+1 min a day at time of service, but please keep in mind these are vintage pieces and as such have variance in run-time. Please see pictures for case and dial wear which shows the natural patina of wear that can only be obtained from the normal use of a vintage piece. Note - while missing gaskets have been replaced, water resistance is not the same as a new watch, and any water contact is not recommended.
