Description: Ultra rare Vintage 1945-1952 handpainted in occupied Japan (6) snack plates flying bluebirds. Plates are in amazing shape. No chips, cracks, stains or crazing. Only mild flaws from time of production. No so are exactly alike as the entire scene is handpainted. I’m only guessing on the material as it appears to me to be porcelain ?? The fronts of plates are glazed but not the backs. Thank you for your interest in my listing.
