Description: Up for sale is a Republic Of South Vietnam Police Cloud Camo Field Hat. This hat is a reproduction using the original cloth from the Vietnam war 1960's period. I managed tot get a small batch which is stored in a Vietnamese PAVN government holding warehouse. The color in the hat is not as vibrant as the cloth used have been in storage for more than 50 years. These are not reprints or repros from China. Made to the same specification of that during the war years. This is a short brim hat design, also known as shooter cut to allow for breaking the wearer's facial silhouette, at the same time allowing better visibility and situational awareness in the tropical jungles of Vietnam. Item is about a US size 7 1/2 (60CM). It is extremely hard to come by. Thanks for looking !!
