Description: For the View Master Photographer & Collector MODEL H Lighted Viewer serviced w/LED bulb You cannot go wrong with this vintage View-Master lighted viewer. It has nice lenses (plastic, not glass) Focus is fixed but accurate Decent magnification Light works well (especially since I cleaned the contacts and installed white back reflectors - these can be seen in the picture with the viewer open and the reflector removed) LED bulb for bright white light and long lasting service (the original bulb is also included) Overall, an excellent View-Master viewing experience! I have serviced the viewer by cleaning the body, lenses, contacts. I have tested the viewer and it works great. Here are a few tips for using the viewer: To load the batteries, start by opening the viewer. This particular viewer has two screws on the back that hold it together. Remove these screws. There is a slot at the bottom. Use a coin (or something similar) and twist it. This will separate the two halves. The viewer takes a pair of C-size batteries (C, not D like many other viewers). Use alkaline or rechargeable batteries. With the reflector in place, install each battery by inserting one end and pushing the other. The batteries should face in opposite directions. Their exact orientation does not matter with this LED bulbTest the viewer before closing it. To close the viewer, attach the top first and then close and push the button (it will click in place). Put the screws back. Be careful with cleaning the lenses, they are plastic and scratch easily. Blow the dust and use a soft moistened tissue. Enjoy this nice viewer!
