Description: According to the serial number, this projector was manufactured in about 1935/36. Literature on the internet states the Ampro "K Series" projector contains every improvement required for the finest projection of your 16mm films without professional skill. Included: 1. a locking case, 2. a power cord, 3. a take-up reel, 4. a special lubrication oil bottle, 5. back-up projection bulb (not sure it works), and 6. copy of some literature and instructions from Google. The projector works (but should not be operated without lubrication, and the bulb is good. This was bought new by my father-in-law and used to take many precious family pictures. Then it sat unused for at least 40 years. Some moisture got into the bottom of the case (now rebuilt) and also affected the paint on the bottom portion of the projector. See the pictures for the damage and sample repair on the base using a black magic marker. I would have rated the condition as excellent but for these protective and cosmetic issues. There is storage space on the case for the reel, power cord, projector and oil bottle, literature, and more. There is only a heavy string handle on the case.
