Description: A very charming 40's 50's post WWII black taffeta dress (silk or Rayon, not sure but it does make sound when moving around:), most probably swedish. Hand made, a tag was present at neck but cut off. Looks like a secretary or a school teacher summer dress. It is not in perfect condition as I tried to show in many pictures, it does show signs of the weather and wear, however I wouldn't mind wearing it as I love the signs of time on clothes. Some reddish fading at back bear neck, the seams are not so even, some slight desintegration of fabric as coule tiny holes, but nothing too bad as I see it. There is elastic at waist, probably you could use a belt, the original is not present, if there was one of the same fabric, not sure. I love how simple it is and how elegant and charming it appears. This is the essence of the therm "little black dress". The collar is very interesting and gives the character of the dress I think. The size of modeling lady is s/m with bust 80B and it fits well.
