Description: Except for a small 1/2" mark on the back by a sleeve, this dress is in incredible condition! It is from the 1940s and is made of a fabulous blue silk velvet. The collar and breast pockets are decorated with what looks like cherries in the trapunto method (using stuffing and quilting to create depth on a fabric). It closes up the front with self covered buttons, then on the left side with snaps. The belt is embellished with metal studs and closes with a large hook and bar. There is a tag at the neck back that says size 13. This is truly an amazing dress that needs to be worn and appreciated! Please see all photos for condition and any flaws.
