Description: Vintage 1940s MARCONI Model 218 TUBE RADIO in MCM Bakelite Case WORKING Rare! Check out this vintage tube radio I have for sale. It's in a Bakelite case, great early example of MCM design. The radio has been tested and working. The knobs work, the light turns on, and the volume / speakers work. I was able to tune in several local radio stations. See photos for condition. It appears to be in pretty good shape for its age. Note that there is a crack by the knob and it runs along the base on the side of the knob. Item is rather large and somewhat heavy, so shipping will be somewhat expensive. No shipping outside continental US.
