You just stick the 2 pieces together. I don’t believe that the stand is original. It doesn’t fit in the box. I got it work for the photos but you might want to investigate an alternative? Maybe? You can make it work if you want. This tree comes with its original box. The box exhibits wear associated with age and storage. This tree is a recent estate find. I found this tree in the back of an old garage and the box and tree represent that lifestyle. It’s probably been there for decades.
