Vintage 1951 Shure 99E86 Controlled Reluctance microphone element Med Z

Description: Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a desirable 99E86 Controlled Magnetic element made by Shure Brothers in the early 1950's and known as the "Black Label" model. These elements were made for years and were originally sold with entry level microphones primarily used for dispatch and general broadcasting purposes. The black label was eventually replaced with the white label model. This is a 1951 model. Today these make great smaller elements due to their smaller size and dirty, muddy tone. As you can see right away the writing on the rear of the label this is a 99E86 set at Medium Z. It came from a General Electric model mic that was in rough condition so the while the mic could not be saved the element can. As you can see this element looks very good and there are two wires protruding from the side which is a positive and negative that can be easily soldered to any other wiring. It has the original plastic housing as well. The element is appx 1 5/8 inch across X 1 inch deep and comes with the original plastic cover. These elements can be used in most vintage mics from over the years. The signal strength is 100% with zero issue. Strong and clear...ready to go. Priced very reasonably as well. As with all my vintage microphones... I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. If not...I have a no hassle return policy.
