Description: Vintage Correct Parts is proud to offer, for your consideration, A completely original and fantastic One KILLER Vintage Gibson 1959 DOUBLE BLACK PAF pickup with the original gold cover!This is the first late 50's PAF's we've been able to offer in quite sometime, as these are getting SO scarce and hard to come by. This is the "long magnet" version of the PAF - found from late 1957 thru 1959. This is an "archtop" or "narrow" spaced PAF. These are common found in the Byrdland, ES-350t, Super 400 and L-5. We've also seen them pop up in a few vintage Les Paul Customs. The great news is that these pickups function perfectly in solidbody guitars such as the Les Paul. The string spacing will line up perfectly in the neck position of those guitars as well!This PAF is 100% factory original - it has never been rewound or repaired - and is exactly as it left the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo 64 years ago.
