Vintage 1962 original Barbie Bubble Cut #850 Brunette. Midge. Handemade dresses!

Description: This a vintage original 1962 Midge Barbie teenage fashion model with pedestal and box. Stock no. #850 from Japan. Brunette-Bubble cut barbie doll. 11.5 inches tall. Also included are 2 dresses which were handmade in Korea from Young Chin Christian girls Vocational Training Center. This was an Orphanage in Seoul, Korea. This doll has been in my family for 60 years. It was brought back from Korea from my uncle and given to my mother as a gift. She has had it storage since. She is 75 years old now and asked me to sell her and send her to a new home. Condition: Box is in great condition with light fade or cosmetic wear from age. As shown. Dresses condition: They both have some light red spotting on the back of the dress. The one in the box is still in plastic labeled from the orphanage. There is light spotting on the back also. Light fade from age but still bright colors. Doll condition: The barbie itself is in good condition only in my opinion. Hair is good and face, legs etc. The ears have earrings in them, small pearls. There is green color around the earrings. This is called "green ear". It happens because of a chemical reaction between the metal and the plastic if not removed over time. It can be removed or lessened. You can look up on how to properly remove or lessen the appearance on vintage barbie dolls. Also there are some spotting on her legs which i'm sure can be restored. Like i stated before this barbie has been in the family with one owner since it was new. She is sold as is, and described the best I can. I hope she will go to a new home and possibly get restored a little bit. Maybe you can keep her for another 60 years or pass her down to family. Thank you for looking.
