(Including Fret Work, Intonation, Truss Rod and Action) Here is a phenomenal mystery uitar that was handcrafted in Japan in 1974. We are not certain of the exact model (SY-60 is what I beleive it to be) but it is clearly a very high quality guitar with solid tone-woods and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The top is a solid cedar and the back and sides look like Brazilian Rosewood. It has a few nicks and normal play-wear but nothing out of the ordinary and in overall very good condition. (especially for its age) It plays and sounds phenomenally and the luthier who set it up was actually blown away. He called it a 'winner in every sense" It is priced to move, so don't snooze on this beautiful vintage Japanese made classical gem. This guitar is professionally set up and dialed in for optimal tone and playability. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been leveled / dressed / polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent.
