Description: Vintage Italian 56cm De Rosa Trophée Super Prestige Arc En Ciel Eddy Merckx Columbus SLX Steel Lugged Road Bike Frame & Fork Vintage Italian Trophée Super Prestige Arc En Ciel Eddy Merckx De Rosa Road Race Bike Columbus Steel Lugged Frame and Fork. This De Rosa was a high end road bike all built up in Campagnolo Record parts and looks to be from early 1980s. The Frame Set Notes Years of Eddy Merckx Championship Success in the Super Prestige Race Series. DeRosa Helped design the Eddy Merckx Bicycle line, I suspect this is a Predecessor to Eddy Merck's Branded Professional Bikes. I believe this is size 56cm. Actual Size is: Seat tube 55.5cm Center to Center or 56.5cm Center to Top with a 55.5cm center to center top tube, and a 138mm head tube. Frame and Fork are Columbus SLX Steel Tubes with Campagnolo Dropouts, bottom hanger lug is that same as used on Eddy Merckx bikes. The 1" Threaded Fork has 100mm Spacing and the Frame has 126mm Rear Spacing. Frame & Fork is Italian Standard. Serial is 6 or maybe for size 56cm, that's the only number I could find. Frame is Used, Nice Original paint, minimal paint & decal loss, has some scratches, cable rubs, & blemishes, the roughest part is the top cable guides as they have rust and corrosion, gable guides need work, frame-set could use a little detailing. De Rosa Frame & Fork from the Heart. Plenty of Pictures to mull over. What's shown here for sale weighs a tad over 5 1/2 pounds.
