Description: Up for sale, an uncommon Epiphone Les Paul LP-3 vintage 80's guitar with Steinberger tremolo. This guitar looks like its survived fairly well. It has a few flaws which I'll note below. Overall condition looks pretty good. The finish color is a pearl off-white color. I can see a few marks on the body and one small finish scuff on the body contour (pictured). The body and neck have numerous tiny finish blemishes and a few little dings that the camera may not pick up but nothing of particular concern. Neck is missing one of its inlays (pictured). Also, the headstock corner has minor damage (pictured). The headstock ding is the worst of the flaws. String height looks great and frets are in excellent condition. The pickups sound pretty nice, it has a nice jazz-guitar sound. All electronics work but there is a little noise in the 2 pots. It isn't horrible and can be fairly easily cleaned. Guitar appears all original, I do not note any modifications or significant issues. NOTE: an eBay user has pointed out that the bridge is tilted and not flat. After reading a bit, this is due to the result of weak materials (and stress) in the bridge posts. There is an aftermarket part which corrects the problem and it will be needed to correct the issue (and make the bridge 100% properly functional). You can google "Steinberger KB tremolo fix" and find the article which addresses this common issue. Comes exactly as shown, I do not have any accessories or the original tremolo arm, sorry. I'll find a gig bag for safe shipping. US bidders/buyers only please. This item will ship tracked and insured.
