Description: VINTAGE ANTIQUE GERMAN SANTA BELSNICKLE ON SLEIGH CANDY CONTAINER- CLAY FACE OFFERED FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS AN ANTIQUE GERMAN CLAY FACE SANTA ON SLEIGH. IT IS USED AND NOT PERFECT, BUT STILL MAKES A GREAT CHRISTMAS DISPLAY EVEN FOR A PUTZ VILLAGE. SANTA APPEARS TO BE MADE OF FELT COVERED CLAY COMPOSITION AND CARRIES WHAT REPRESENTS A FEATHER TREE. HE IS MISSING RABBIT FUR ON HIS BEARD. HE IS GLUED IN A SITTING POSITION ON SLEIGH AND IS APPROXIMATELY 3" SITTING. SLEIGH IS MADE OF WOOD SEAT, BACK, AND BOTTOM WITH MICA COVERED CARDBOARD SIDES. IT MEASURES 4.5"L X 2.5"H X 1.5"D WITHOUT SANTA. HEIGHT WITH SANTA IS 3.75". IT IS STAMPED GERMANY ON BOTTOM AS PICTURED. THERE ARE SOME CREASES AND PAINT LOSS AND A SMALL SEPARATION ON CARDBOARD SLEIGH SIDES AS PICTURED. PLEASE VIEW ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF DESCRIPTION. I REALLY BELIEVE HE WAS ORIGINALLY SITTING ATOP A BAG OR BOX OF CHRISTMAS CANDY. GREAT VINTAGE CHRISTMAS COLLECTIBLE.
