Description: Beautiful antique piece in very sound fully usable condition. Based on the materials, design and fixtures I would place this as a piece from the 1800s or early 1900s with metal fixtures. A leather handle, and a rope or chord strap which may be an original or more likely a replacement. Based on the fixture on the back of the box I believe this may have been designed to mount on a portable easel. Size is 18 x 6 x 3.5 inches. Not sure but guessing the wood may be ash.
