The case is made of plastic and is 10 3/4" x 6" x 1 1/2". It has permanent places for 7 cars and a larger compartment for the tools, parts and accessories. It has "AFX Pit Kit" on the lid and "Aurora Products Corp" appears on the inside of the lid. The two Magna Traction Cars are in mint condition and have been off track tested and are working. The cars appear to have never been used. An instruction pamphlet and full color catalogue brochure and two unopened parts bags are included.
