Vintage Banjo Tenor? Rose Design Howard? & Gator Case

Description: Description: This is for a Neat Vintage Banjo I found in a storage locker. I know very little of it.Has a neat Rose Design on back with a screw hole. I assume to tighten it somehow. I see no makers mark but in my research the ones most similar to it was made by a Howard co. but still unsure..condition is not bad I guess. missing a string and very dusty and needs a good cleaning. the metal trim pate has a couple small cracks on the edge but does not look serious to me (see picture). there is also a small (crack) where the neck meets the body(see pic). other than that it is what you see. selling for parts or restoration with no returns. it comes with a newer Gater Case which sells for over $100.00 by itself..
