Description: This original vintage Barbie Sophisticated Lady ensemble #993 from 1963-1964 is complete and one that truly gives Barbie a look of royalty. It includes a beautiful full length pink silk dress with silver filigree lace trim on the skirt and bodice, a full length rose velvet coat with wide stand-up collar and fully lined in pink silk, long white tricot gloves, a pink pearl necklace, and pink open-toed mule heels (JAPAN). To top it off is a rare and very pretty gray tiara. This elegant outfit is an original from Mattel and made specifically for Barbie as part of the Ponytail Barbie product line and fits a 12-inch fashion doll. There are some faint dark spots on the coat that I have tried to show in the pictures. I did not try to clean it, so it may come out. There is one button closure loop on the front of the coat that is missing, but all three buttons are in tact. The snaps are present and in excellent working condition. Overall, this is a beautiful ensemble, and would be a perfect addition to your vintage Barbie collection or for anyone wanting to give their Barbie an elegant sophisticated vintage look.
