Description: Vintage Black Bear Carved in Japan -Open Mouth-fully carved teeth. Appears to have been original stock at a Shirokiya store. This solid block of wood is in like new condition with flat black stain, no marks, chips or damage. The bear weighs in at 3 lbs and measures 11" x 71/2" x 51/2". Pre-owned, from a collector's studio, it offers a realistic fearsome countenance; not a child's toy. Please note that the vintage items offered in this shop are not new.
