Description: Description: I found this lovely piece at auction in New Jersey. The elephant is very realistic with wrinkles in the skin. The trunk is up in a mighty roar. Measures 16.25” tall. The base is 9.5” x 5”. Weighs 7 pounds, 6 ounces. The elephant is made in India, and the label says it is lacquered (to prevent tarnishing.) The base is either a metal or a composite. Neither the elephant nor the base are magnetic. Condition: Not polished. There are some dark spots, probably where lacquer has come off and tarnish has followed. No losses or repairs. Please review the pictures closely as they are part of the description. I apologize ahead of time for the cost of shipping. I only ship USPS Priority insured.
