Looks like there is several coats of polyurethane. To open stand table on edge and swing legs into open position. Lock bar clicks when this point is reached. To close each leg is released by a button in the rim. By pushing button down as far as possible, the lock bar releases the leg and allows it to be folded into collapsed position. DO NOT Force leg down until button is pushed down all the way. Table weight without packaging 16 Lbs. Refurbished good working condition with minor wear as seen in pictures. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.
