Description: Vintage C.G. Conn silverplated trumpet made in Elkhart, Indiana in the late 40s'. Serial number 3624XX. Has art deco engraving, bottom spring valves, lead pipe pinky ring and main tuning slide brace. The corks need to be replaced on the valves. This has been played recently, it has some minor dings, a small solder repair, missing the lyre screw. the valves and slides move freely. It measures 18 1/4" with a 4 5/8" bell and weighs 2lbs. 4oz. It comes with original case, lyre and custom-made mouthpiece receiver. The case has a musky odor and the lock latch is broken. Considering its age, it is in remarkable shape.
