Description: Vintage Chinese hardwood carving of an emaciated elderly man. He is seated in a meditating pose. His eyes and teeth ad a detailed touch to the overall sculpture. He has very prominent ribs and bones and is possibly a Chinese Lohan figure (meditating Buddhist figure). The piece measures~ 8.5" tall. In very good condition with a nice patina. I noted two small splits in the wood along the front.
