Description: Presented for your consideration is this Vintage Cox Thimble Drome Spitfire Gas Engine Toy Model Tether Airplane. Recent find in the back of an old barn here in central Indiana. Gave it a quick hose down to clean off the years of grime and filth. It’s going to need to be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned. If you guys don’t know about barns, they can get out of hand really quickly. You can see it has potential just by the quick hose down I gave it. It seems to be mostly all there. I’ll leave it up to one of you guys who has a passion for this type of thing to bring her back to life. Functionality unknown. As far as the box. If you don’t want the box, let me know. I’ll just toss it out. I’m not cleaning it up. I don’t mind digging for the quality items in the back of old barns but even I have my limits. I’m not messing around with that stinky old box.
