Description: Vintage Darcy Doyle Framed Print Pie Cart Cricket Australia Art Gift Idea d’Arcy 'Pie Cart' by Australian Artist d'Arcy W Doyle features a country crowd watching a game of cricket from the shade of a jacaranda tree. The crowd includes some local painters along side a horse and cart that is serving hot pies to two children. A local dog surveys the scene in the foreground. This framed Darcy Doyle print remains in very good used condition. It has bright colours and remains in great shape. The print was by Art Nouveau Publishing and is oil on canvas board with a white border. It is housed within a stained pine timber frame that is covered by glass that cleans up well. It has a brown backing board and a white string for hanging. There is the occasional very light mark/ some wear on the frame and backing board, as photographed. Externally the frame measures 52cm wide by 42.5cm high and is 2cm thick. The piece weighs just over 1.5kg. I have a range of other classic items in my eBay store @ alexanders_classic_collection.
