Description: Vintage DORSET DIVER (Montgomery Wards), Cal. FE 140-1A, UT 30C, 17 Jewels Manual Wind, C. 1970’s, Working. The movement has 17 jewels as opposed to some other divers that have only 1 jewel or none at all. The polished shiny case is in excellent condition and measures 42.50mm from lug to lug and 36.50mm not including the crown. The bezel rotates bi directionally and smoothly. The dial is in very good condition. The hour markers, hands, and all lettering are in very good condition. There is a smudge on the 6 hour marker. The lume on the hour markers and hands is still strong. The crystal is like new. The black tropic style rubber band is NOS. This is a vintage watch without service records. I cannot guarantee the accuracy, longevity or waterproofing and should be serviced by a competent watchmaker.
