Description: This beautifully crafted vintage E. T. The Extraterrestrial ceramic lamp is 14" tall from base to top of bulb fixture (excluding bulb). The black painted wooden base is 7.5" across and the 9" tall ceramic ET figure is firmly attached to the base and has a glossy tone-on-tone finish in shades of brown. The striking blue eyes appear to convey kindness in my opinion. The lamp has an extra long 72" white plug in cord and operates with a switch control. It's in fabulous condition w/the exception of a faint hairline crack on the top of the right foot which has been there since I've owned it. It could also use a new piece of felt glued to the bottom if desired. Please see photos for the exact location of crack and current condition of this lamp. It's been in my family for approx 35 years. Light bulb and shade not included in sale but has looked great w/both white and light blue lampshades. Manufactured in the 1980s, I believe this original piece is a rare find for collectors or fans of E.T. or retro movie memorabilia.
